The park is maintained as a swimming area enjoyed by many during the summer. The school house itself consists of one large heated and air conditioned room. A fridge, microwave, sink, and counter are located in the main room, with a bathroom for public use. West Lake Road Schoolhouse is handicap accessible and available for rent.
